The M-E Boys - A Elbereth! To Thee We Pray!

A Elbereth! To Thee We Pray!
This could certainly be true for the M-E Boys soon enough, they will need to say their prayers that their rock and roll remake of `A Elbereth!' Does well in the charts, it is a gamble. Elbereth is a most loved Ainur, all elves hold her highly and if this new song doesn't live up to their standards well the M-E Boys will just have to hope that their other cover song - `The Fall of Gil-Galad' captures our hearts.
I personally can't wait till you all get to hear their new songs, I was lucky enough to see them perform yesterday, `A Elbereth' and `The Fall of Gil-Galad' was absolutely wonderful! Haldir and Silinde did a marvelous job of `A Elbereth', with Elrond as main bass, and Celeborn second. Galdor on drums, Erestor on the triangle (that's the only thing he knows how to play.)
Haldir and Silinde belted out the tunes and I couldn't help but dance to the music and throw my knickers at Haldir!!! I cannot give `A Elbereth' enough praise, though I am only human and I'm sure the boys want the elven mark of approval.
Now I must speak about `The Fall of Gil-Galad', it was excellent. Elrond really gets into it! This is only fitting as he was Gil's herald. He sings the lead and does it well, there is a lot of emotion when it comes to this song, if I had to say what the tune was like for this song all I can say is - `I'm not in love' by 10CC, that's all there is to it.
I was lucky to experience this yesterday! All the rest of you will be able to hear these songs when they come out next week! Yay!
There is another happy occasion I must inform the M-E Boys about, Silinde and Galdor were happy enough to inform me of their engagement last week. Congratulations guys! They will be holding the ceremony in Galdor's homeland Mithlond, they are planning a stunning beach wedding, and the service will be led by The Lady of Light (who I must say has nearly as big a following as Kylie herself!)
For those who don't know the song this is how it goes, well at least this is how they are singing it.
we still remember we who dwell.
On the this far land beneath the trees
Thy starlight on the Western seas.
A Elbereth Gilthoniel,
silivren penna míriel
o menel aglar elenath!
The Fall Of Gil-Galad
Gil-galad was an Elven-king.
Of him the harpers sadly sing:
the last whose realm was fair and free
between the mountains and the Sea.
His sword was long, his lance was keen,
his shining helm afar was seen;
the countless stars of heaven's field
were mirrored in his silver shield.
But long ago he rode away,
and where he dwelleth none can say;
for into darkness fell his star
in Mordor where the shadows are.
