New Zealand takes out top honours at the Chelsea Garden Show, 2004 - Lord of the Rings Set Designers mesmerize London garden visitors.

Set designers for The Lord of the Rings, have taken out top honours by winning the gold medal for Best Show Garden, with their Garden of Well Being at this year's Chelsea Garden Show.

From May 25 to 28, the '100% Pure New Zealand Ora - Garden of Well-Being'  mesmerised visitors with steaming silica terraces, living artworks sculpted from tree ferns and a hot mineral pool. Designed to reflect Maori mythology and the distinctive geothermal geology of the Rotorua region, the garden promises to be one of the more unusual and memorable exhibits at Chelsea.
