Editing Begins on New Line's "Lord of the Rings" - Creative Planet Editor’s Net

Erin Lauten of Editor's Net reports that the editing for Fellowship of the Ring has begun.


Michael Horton (Forgotten Silver, Once Were Warriors), John Gilbert (Executive Target, "Aberration) and Jamie Selkirk (Jackie Brown, Genius, Meet the Feebles) have begun cutting New Line's Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for director Peter Jackson (Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners). The live-action film, which is based on first in the trilogy of novels by J.R.R. Tolkien, wrapped production in New Zealand on Dec. 21.
