You can build a Lord of the Rings TCG deck as just a bunch of good fellowship and Shadow cards, but often find the deck lacking. Just because your deck is full of good cards doesn't mean you have a good deck.

At first glance, it may seem like The Lord of the Rings™ trading card game makes you design two different decks – one Free Peoples and another Shadow. These two decks seem to have no connection with each other. In reality, there are three important connections between the Free Peoples and Shadow decks.
The Mines of Moria will bring 122 more cards to the table from all cultures, and will make the LOTR TCG even more interesting!
