Heren Istarion Update - New York Tolkien Society

Here's the latest update from Anthony, the chairman of the New York Tolkien Society, Heren Istarion:

In October 2004, join Heren Istarion as we attend The Lord of the Rings: 1954-2004: Scholarship in Honor of Richard E. Blackwelder. The conference will offer new scholarship upon the 50th anniversary of the publication of Tolkien's masterpiece. Some of the scholars presenting papers will be: Tom Shippey, Verlyn Flieger, Michael Drout, Michael  Foster, Jane Chance and Douglas Anderson.
