Brad B. emailed me a note about a lecture published by ISI (Intercollegiate Studies Institute). Here's what he said:

ISI posted a lecture on their website that I gave this summer on Tolkien vs.
Richard Wagner. I argued that while Wagner desired a return to paganism and
nationalism, Tolkien desired a return to Christendom.
