Imagine having to live there.
Um...did I miss the memo? I did not know the Bay of Belfalas held such horrible looking architecture (horrible as in horror. This picture is not horrible). In what book what it stated so? Definately not in LotR, or in the Silmarillion - so where is it?
Although I doubt the description of Dol Amroth, this is a very imaginative painting and deserves it's own kind of honor (which is a high rating).

John Howe does much good work. But this is, IMHO, absurd. This castle is fantastic in the worst sense and nothing at like Tolkien's descriptions of Numenorean archetecture.

This is a wonderful interpritation of the city on the sea. This painting wondefully captures the mythic beauty of the sea that has the pwoer to enchant so many of the elves of middle earth. It would make sense that one of Nimrodels followers would choose to stay here.
