I like this picture very much. Yes, Faramir "looks like he's supposed to" but it's more the expression on his face than the physical appearance. It captures the moment from the book very well-- far better than most illustrations. The "feel" is there, and all the uncertainty in Faramir, yet his strength is not diminished. And Frodo's stance... we can't see his face, but the stance says it all.

I like the look of humor on some of the Ranger's faces too.... again, as in the book.
