...actually, this is a well done painting. It does look just like the movie characters. In fact, the scene goes like this:
Gandalf (reaching out for the Ring): "Give me the Ring, Frodo."
Frodo: "Give you...the Ring."
Gandalf: "For a moment only."
Gandalf (holding the Ring): "Do you see any strange markings on it?"
Frodo: "There are none. It's quite a plain ring really."
Gandalf: "Well, then...look." (and he tosses the Ring into the fire.)

I don't care for Gandalf's nose, but I do like the painting.

Yes, Brandagamba, the painting is--well--okay,I guess. But do you think this is what Tolkien-God bless him-pictured when writing this scene? I sure didn't. Frodo looks more like a scolded child then someone who is being tempted by the Ring and about to take the fate of the world into his own tiny hands.And what's up with that nose? The only worse nose I've seen was on Michael Jackson!!!
