Orlando's eyes aare really dark brown(beautiful...ah...!),but they(Fran,Peter and Philippa)found out that blue eyes have more effect on film,because there's more light in them...so he had to put on blue lenses every day for 15-16 months....auch!

Oh, well...I hope that your scanner gets fixed soon, I know how much of a pain breakages can be (is that even a real word?).
Anyways, I try to stay away from fan sites for a few reasons:
1) I learn things about the person that I don't...exactly...want...to...uh...know
2)I hear some pretty pathetic comments from "love"-struck girls....
But oh well. I don't like him anyways.
My dad bought me the Lord of the Rings soundtrack today ( I must be the only fan who didn't have it until now, just thought I'd share that with you all...) and I got so emotional that I started crying in the middle of the CD. Not for any particular reason, just because I love it so much. I'm still a bit dreamy now, and I hope you all love it as much as I do. I hope you all appreciate the fact that I think of ALL of you as kind of my second family, since you all are like a family...which just happens to revolve around The Lord of the Rings.
Sorry I get a bit emotional on these things, it's just that, I hope you guys don't think me like anyone else...I know this is waaaaaaaaaaaay off subject of the picture, but I just want to let you know that, I'm not so much of a "groupie", and I am a fan in a different sort of way than most people think.

I think Viggo is incredibly talented and his art is wonderful. I like the use of light and the fact that Orlando isn't staring directly into the camera. Also the fact that he has added some writing at the bottom is even better. Has anyone else seen the Elijah Wood photo he took. Thats good too.

One of the things I pointed out in the first movie was how Legolas's eyes WERE NOT blue.. like when they did the few close ups, they were brown, his natural color, but they made a big deal about the blue eyes on the site.. hrm... well.. at least they'll be blue in the next movies, eh? *L* I guess since they didn't think he had many closeups that it didn't matter..

I love this picture. I was wondering where could Viggo be to be able to take this picture of Orlando without him noticing (I mean, that's what it seems!).
Oh, and in the movie there are scenes in which Legolas has blue eyes and others in which he has brown, almost black eyes. I thought it was done on purpose; that it was just an "elf thing". For instance, in the Council of Elrond, when Legolas says "He is no mere ranger" (1:28:34), his eyes don't look so dark, they look kind of green. And in many scenes during the Council when there is a close up of him we see that he has either blue or green eyes (not dark brown..)
But I don't care if he wears contacts or wigs, just as long as the result is good (and it IS!)
Oh! This doesn't have anything to do with this pisture, but I read somewhere that Orlando wanted do play Faramir in the movie but he wasn't picked for that part and that when they were deciding who would play Legolas they remembered his face and everything and ended up picking him...
I don't know if that's true, but I just couldn't imagine Orlando as Faramir now, he's so perfect as Legolas!

I love this picture. I was wondering where could Viggo be to be able to take this picture of Orlando without him noticing (I mean, that's what it seems!).
Oh, and in the movie there are scenes in which Legolas has blue eyes and others in which he has brown, almost black eyes. I thought it was done on purpose; that it was just an "elf thing". For instance, in the Council of Elrond, when Legolas says "He is no mere ranger" (1:28:34), his eyes don't look so dark, they look kind of green. And in many scenes during the Council when there is a close up of him we see that he has either blue or green eyes (not dark brown..)
But I don't care if he wears contacts or wigs, just as long as the result is good (and it IS!)
Oh! This doesn't have anything to do with this pisture, but I read somewhere that Orlando wanted do play Faramir in the movie but he wasn't picked for that part and that when they were deciding who would play Legolas they remembered his face and everything and ended up picking him...
I don't know if that's true, but I just couldn't imagine Orlando as Faramir now, he's so perfect as Legolas!

i don't really like blue eyes much, brown are nice, but having green eyes my self i think they are the best, brown eyes rock too though. i can't stand frodos eyes they bulge out of his head like a frog with a cold!

Looks like he is giving us the finger, or at least that is what i was thinking at first. Middlearth, it is a pic of him putting contact lenses in to change the colour of his eyes but ill see if i can read what is said at the bottom

I think the way Viggo sees things is very interesting. Cuz, you know, that's what you see when an artist makes something, his perspective. Very interesting. Were can i find more of Viggo's work?
