Chris Tolkien is the main force behind his dad's estate,I would say it has something to do financially,as to why they didnt put his name on the title,and not just in case it is a stinker of a movie.The hype for this movie is almost equal to star wars,and will be bigger before the premier.But I will think most true Tolkien fans would have wished it never to be made.Who ever read the book Jaws?not many since you can watch it.Greed is the main reason this movie is being made.I would bet JRR would have never consented to it.
