In comparison to Alan Lee's drab, boring, featureless, and all-around horrible depiction of Cirith Ungol, this KICKS BUTT! Perfect representation in my opinion.

Like luindilien, I imagined that "the place should be far creepier, the architecture far devilish, and the environmen faaaaaaaar darker" but this is a wonderful depiction, even though the smoke from Mount Doom does look a bit stylized... but I guess the artist did that on purpose.

This picture is rated too low, IMO. Great to see soem originality... great use of color! Wow, I'm not sure what to say. I can't pick it apart too much, so obviously I like it One of my favorite non-movie peices of artwork I've seen on here... I wonder if I can get it to work as my wallpaper.

It does look like it's from the '70s. This also reminds me of that Isengard painting that I recently rated. It looks like it's from a fairy-tale story. Oh well. I'll give a couple points for it's detail...and it's not the worst I have seen.
