Very pretty but, although I love the Hildebrant's overall
style, I have never cared for Frodo's face (to childlike
and nose to pointed). Nor for Aragorn's mustache.
I can picture Strider looking "Scruffy" when in the wild. But, when cleaned up, like for this scene, I never pictured him with anything other than a fully shaven face.
Even with those thoughts, since there is no 4.5 rating available, this picture still gets a 5 from me.

Sure, I don't envision Elrond with a moustache (although I've never had the same problem seeing Aragorn with one, or with a beard, for that matter), and Frodo could have been a bit better. But at least here we have an Arwen who is truly, truly beautiful and elegant, in a stunning (and appropriately-styled) dress--and an Aragorn who actually looks kingly. I love it!

Sure, I don't envision Elrond with a moustache (although I've never had the same problem seeing Aragorn with one, or with a beard, for that matter), and Frodo could have been a bit better. People! You can't base ratings on personal opinions! My gosh, this is an art gallery!! Perhaps it is a bit fairy-tale ish, but it fits in with the fact that LotR is a legend. The contrast on this work is beautiful. Look at it with more of an artist's eye. Some of the pics that are rated higher are crap compared to this! Gees, people!!

Okay, I get the joke. These people do not look like they came from the Lord of the Rings. It's a pretty picture, but, well, I could do so much better. In fact, I have. And why does Aragorn's hat remind me so much of Hermes?
