I like this one more than the other one-but what are those things sort of coming out from his ears?

I'm pretty sure that's some sort of reflection from the glass.
I agree that this one is better than the first. It shows a fixation on the ring, and a presentation of its power.
It's much more teasy, Jon

This one is far better than the original released poster. The "things" out of his ears are reflections of light from the theater, etc. The caption about "power..." is much more provocative and threatening than the simple "One ring to rule them all..." Which is more a statement. IMHO to draw the audience (thi=ose who have not read the books) you will need to pique the curiosity and threaten them a bit with promised conflict, and the unknown. This poster does that much better than the first.

when taking a picture behind glass, you will get a reflection. I'm not to sure about this poster. Something about it bothers me. It's ok, just not a trigger tricker. So, it's a three.

Very nice, better than the other. It really shows his preoccupation, if that's the right word, with the Ring. I'm glad they fixed the weird bronze and red coloring from the last one. On an aside, though - is it just me, or does the reflection in the lower left look like a lightsaber handle? :)
