This photo shows us that Tolkein was TRUELY a GREAT man. I'm only too sorry I never got the chance to meet him! He looks kinda like Winston Churchill!

Wow, this is a really good picture of J.R.R. Tolkien, he looks like he's thinking about what will happen next, in one of his books. I think it is fascinating that he is smoking a pipe and let almost everyone in the book do it too. :-)

What an amazing man! You're right, he looks like he's ruminating on what will happen next in one of his books. What a brilliant, wonderful, excellent, and great man! If only I could have met him! What knowlege and wisdom I would have gained! I can only think and wait til heaven...
