Danimal

She doesn't quite have that Elvish mystique about her; Elves are all about grace, and that tiptoe, arch-backed position makes her look as if she's about to fall over on her face. Also, the hobbits should be in the picture, since Galadriel's displaying Nenya for their benefit.

The real star of this painting is that beautiful, tree-like fountain that holds Galadriel's Mirror.

A beautiful painting. I, too, would have liked to see more of her hair ( or at least a HINT of it ). And I could do without the "tippy-toes". But Nenya's radiance has a
beautiful effect, and the "arboreal" pedestal is lovely too. A "4 1/2" would be more fitting, but who wants to
"pick nits" with such "classic" lovliness.
Reminds me of the late Princess Grace, Her Most Ser-
ene Highness of Monaco who, in the summer of her
career as an actress, would have made a wonderful
Galadriel. Rest in peace, dear Lady.

The Galadriel is too simple. Need more retouch.

I agree with everyone that it's a lovely painting. However, I also see rweiss' point: the tip-toes make her look like a ballerina or a debutante. What's more, I know that Galadriel's supposed to be BEAUTIFUL, but this painting seems to imbue her with a heavy dose of "sexiness". For me, that detracts from the nobility, composure, and regalness I always imagined inherent in her.

I'm not ok with Danimal : Galadriel (and all the rest of the picture) is certainly mystic. The ambiance pleases me with this beautiful sky... But the Galadriel's hairs are not as lightned as I could expect.

When did Galadriel get the buzz cut?

Did Gilmi get an overwhelming love for her golden locks and decide he wanted her whole *** scalp.

Maybe he wore it to feel more like an elf so that he could realy go into Fnagorn without kakking himself.

Give her HAIR BACK!!!

I think the portrayal of her ring is very acurate, it is a beautiful picture. I would to like to see more of her hair, but I still really like this interpritation.

I love the coloring of this picture because it matches the mood I get from Galadriel, yet the womanherself does not look a bit like what I imagine Galadriel to be. I see her with deep, sad eyes, long golden hair, and a lot more regalness to her.

I don't like neither her dress nor her "haircut"...
Not natural.
Galadriel is supposed to have beautiful hair : why don't you show them?? What a pity!! :(

If Ted Nasmith would have given her long golden flowing hair this would have been the best painting of Galadriel I've ever seen.

It's ok, but like I said! She does have hair, you know, and no shoes. Elves of Lothlorien don't wear shoes.
