Lord of the Rings on Empire's 500 Greatest Movies of All Time

While many of us would certainly rank Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films higher than Empire ranked them, they still managed to all be in the top 54.  So where'd they end up...?

The Fellowship of the Ring... 24th
The Two Towers... 54th
The Return of the King... 34th

Interestingly I'd put the films at least in the same order (Fellowship being the best, Two Towers the least of the three)... for the complete list, click here.

  1. The 500 is a farce. 'The Dark Knight' at 15?? o_0 I know the pedigree of actors has declined in recent times so peoples' memories may be a bit vague, but Heath really wasn't that great... trust me. >_>
