"MarketSaw" Confirms Peter Jackson Will Direct The Hobbit

Last week, Jim Dorey from MarketSaw, a blog focusing on 3D Movies and Technology, posted an article stating that Peter Jackson would direct The Hobbit. He was shot down by a few sites, and being the sincere person he is, he went back to his sources in Peter Jackson's camp for clarifications.

Today, we received a hobbit-sized mail from Jim, but his news was HUGE. He confirmed what we've all been waiting to hear: Peter Jackson WILL indeed direct The Hobbit. And not just that, an LOTR-prequel will also be in the making, drawn from the matter of The Silmarillion and The History Of Middle-earth series.
