I thought that ROTK was the best movie out of the three. I think it followed the book pretty well. Wonderful special effects and some great jobs of being the characters. Some of them really hit the nail on the head. Plus I cried my eyes out on most of the scenes. Like when Faramir leaves to retake Osgiliath. That was sooooo sad. I was a little disapointed that they cut out "The Houses of Healing" and "The Scouring of the Shire", but I understand, the movie was over three hours long! The soundtrack is great and I find myself listening to it more than Good Charlotte! I think that ROTK is Oscar worthy and if it doesn't win, I'm going to be VERY disapointed!
