The road ahead is long-

****Allusions to God, but may be taken as any "higher power" depending on religious preference.

The road ahead is long,
Not yet trod by pilgrim feet,
Marching to the music
Of our own uncertain souls

The narrow, winding pathways
Lay ahead with every
Hope and dream and prayer
Of our own uncertain souls

Leaning on the streangth,
The sole unwavering love,
The sweet reedeeming grace
Of Your kind and certain soul

We choose the winding pathways
With our voices softly singing,
Marching to the music
Of Your kind and certain soul
